The Cowboy Festival

At the Cowboy Festival in Szczecin, Poland I had the opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with over 1,000 people.
You might ask, how did I end up being invited to minister in Szczecin? Twelve years ago I was ministering in a church in Columbus, Ohio. There was a young man, Abraham Kenner, sitting in the congregation and God gave me a prophetic word for him that God was calling him to the nations.                                                                    As time went by I forgot about the prophetic word. Then last year I received a message from Abraham, that he was living in Poland.

    Visiting Teams
It has been such a blessing to have teams visiting. We had teams
visiting from Hurlach, Germany, York, England, Brisbane, Australia and Redding, California.
The teams are made up of both young and old people, filled with zeal for the kingdom of God.
They were involved with reaching out to the poor and homeless, and doing Open Worship on the main sqaure in Prague. They
also ministered in the red light district, doing prayer walks and shared Jesus with anyone who is willing to listen.
David's Tabernacle
It was such a blessings to take part in David's Tabernacle in
Ukraine. This was the fourth time David's tabernacle was held in
Uzhgorod, Ukraine.
In Ukraine there has been a lot of mistrust and jelously between
churches and ministries. This is because, under communism, the
government would bribe people to inform on each other. Many people would report lies to the government, about one another, just to get paid. This caused such pain and mistrust in society.
David's Tabernacle is a great tool that God is using to take down dividing walls that separate the body of Christ.

English Camp and Gypsies
It was such a blessings to minister in the English camp at Nehemiah and to encourage our Gypsy friends in Ukraine.
This year was the lagest camp yet. Over 200 children attended the English Camp at Nehemiah.  It was a day camp that consisted of children, first through sixth grade. Most of the children were from non-Christian families.                                                                                 First we would meet all together for a skit and singing and then we would split into small groups of 10 children, with games and fun
in English!
We went to several Gypsy camps while we were in Uzhborod.
There is such an openess among the Gypsy community. Each one of us had an opportunity to share Jesus with many of the young people.
We planned a large meal for the Gypsy Church including:  fried chicken, fried potatoes, salad, and lots of desserts.
In August, I (Roger) took part in a baptism of new belivers and the
dedication of the new Gypsy Church building. It's so encouraging to see how the Gypsy church has grown, and now they are sending missionaries to the neighboring countries. It was great to see my friend Pastor Tom Bloom who has also been an amazing support for the Gypsy church.
Elizabeth
Elizabeth is loving her time in New Zealand! She is just entering her
third month.
Here is a message from Elizabeth:
"The past few weeks have flown by so fast! I have gained so much head knowledge, but also heart knowledge.                                               We have had opportunities to evangelize on the streets of Tauranga which has been wonderful. A couple of weeks ago we found out our outreach teams and our
locations. Our team is going to Vanuatu, and more specifically to the islands of Efate and Espiritu Santo.  We are a team of 5 students and 2 leaders. My teammates are from New Zealand, Norway, the US, and Finland!
Our leaders are just getting the details ready, but we definitely will be working at a Marine Reach health centre helping with medical and non medical activities. We will also be helping with health clinics around the islands and visiting villages."

Please Pray
  • Pray for Elizabeth as she continues her training in New Zealand and her two month outreach in Vanuatu, Efate and Espiritu Santo.
