Youth Ministry

Is your teenage son looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further then AAEC! This Thursday 8 June the Youth Ministry will be having a boys lock-in in the youth building. The time of this event will be from 7:30 pm to 8:00 am. All teenage boys are welcome and be sure to bring a friend.

June 21st will be the last Youth Ministry service before summer break. If you have any questions or concerns please email odi@eyu.ae

NOTE: The normal Youth Ministry service will not take place this week.

Living Water Library

Volunteers are needed to assist with the closing of the Library for summer. If you are available to help with the boxing of books and moving of furniture, please email library@aaec.ae.

NOTE: The library will be closed between 6 July and 31 August this summer. We appreciate your efforts to return all library materials prior to summer closing.

Marriage Ministry

The Marriage Ministry will be participating in a Church Center event taking place on 23 June. Robert Maddox, a speaker from the United States, will be doing a marriage seminar from 9 am to 1 pm. The event will take place in The Ark, and child care will be provided during the event.

Lunch at Leisure

On 23 June after the conference, there will be a marriage ministry lunch at Leisure near Diaso in town center. Children are welcome, and this will be the last marriage ministry event before summer.

Children's Ministry

With the rapidly increasing number of children participating in the Children's Ministry, and Friday Services decreasing to one ten o'clock service next month additional volunteers are needed. If you have the heart for children and can devote an hour and a half from 6 July to 25 August, please email sage@aaec.ae.

NOTE: The Children's Ministry is currently working with a skeleton crew and may be forced to shut down if a suitable number of volunteers are not added to the roster. When the church minimizes to one ten o'clock service the optimal number of volunteers will be 15 each week. The break down is as follows:

6 Teacher
6 Assistance
1 Check-in Person
2 Bathroom helpers

Thank you, everyone, for donating bottle caps & tissue rolls. We have officially reached our goal and are excited about all of the projects we will be able to create with your children this summer.

Project Harvest

Do you keep thinking that you should get involved with Project Harvest, but aren’t sure how or you keep forgetting to send that email? Please visit their table in the foyer this Friday to learn how. Praying, visiting, teaching English, or bringing food are a few of the ways you can make a difference.

Prayer Ministry

Next week the Prayer Ministry will be hosting a Ramadaan Prayer. The event will take place on Wednesday 13 June and will be from 8 am to 7 pm. This events location will be in the Youth Building on our church compound. We will be praying for Muslims all over the world. The congregation is invited to come anytime throughout the day to join the intercessors in prayer.

We'd like to call your attention to the AAEC Marketplace, in an invite-only Facebook group limited to just the AAEC community. It's a great place to post items within the church family and be confident of who you're selling or donating to...check it out!
