The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine invites you to join a two-day workshop in Washington, DC on August 14-15, 2018. The workshop will explore the process, findings, and implementation strategies identified in California’s Fourth Assessment, and will also consider climate assessment activities from other states, regions, and cities. Participants will discuss key elements for successful climate assessment activities, challenges facing policy makers and local actors interpreting and implementing identified interventions, and engagement strategies for key stakeholders such as power and water utilities. This event is made possible by support from the California Energy Commission.
