Laura Sanford on what will probably be your very winding career path
In May, HerChesapeake welcomed Eastern Shore native and active conservationist Laura Sanford. As part of our guest speaker series, Laura spoke with us about the unconventional path she has taken to become the Director of Advancement and Administration for the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy. (Laura also serves as president of the Corsica River Conservancy, which coordinated a cleanup HerChesapeake members attended this spring.) Networking Happy Hour and Concert
Come to Davis' Pub between 5 and 7 p.m. to catch up and connect with members of HerChesapeake! At 7 p.m., we'll walk four blocks to the Annapolis Maritime Museum for its Tides & Tunes Summer Concert Series featuring Dublin 5. Anacostia Boat Trip
Explore the Anacostia River with us in an open-air motorized boat! A guide from the Anacostia Watershed Society will discuss the river's natural and cultural history, as well as the nonprofit's restoration work. Learn more.

Quarterly Meeting
Join us at our next meeting on August 20 at Union Jack's in Annapolis, MD. Arrive at 6:30 p.m. for snacks and small talk, and the meeting will begin at 7:00. More information will be posted soon.
