Looking Ahead to Year 1
Here's what you should be thinking about in preparation for next fall as a GEAR UP Affiliate site.
- Review the GEAR UP Roadmap. The Roadmap provides a step-by-step guide to enhance your school culture while creating college and career-ready students using our research-based theory of change.
- Build a College & Career Readiness Team. Having a team of people is critical to this work! See the Roadmap for instructions and suggestions on how to get the right people on board.
- Join us to kick things off. The Affiliate Fall Kickoff meeting will be in mid-October in eastern Oregon. More details on date and location to come.
- Look out for goodies. A welcome package of GEAR UP goodies for your school including pens, pencils and bags will be sent over the summer.

Register for 12th Grade Events
Register to host 12th grade events - College Application Week, College Cash Campaign, and Decision Day! New and returning sites should complete the registration form and order event posters and stickers to be guaranteed free promotional items. All Oregon high schools are invited to join the statewide effort to assist and celebrate students as they take the necessary steps to apply, pay for, and go to college.
