Bike today for a better tomorrow.

Join thousands of others as they ditch their cars in favor of two-wheeled, pedal-powered transportation on Bike to Work Day. Longmont is set for plenty of fun with breakfast stations throughout town and an afternoon, community bike party. The City is hosting two breakfast stations this year with hot breakfast to fuel your ride to work! View a list and map of Longmont Stations >

Bike Lane Trial Project

Improving and expanding Longmont’s bicycle network is an important and ongoing effort guided by the City’s Envision Longmont Multimodal & Comprehensive Plan. As part of that effort, the City is utilizing routine street re-striping work to test ways of creating new bicycle facilities on existing streets.
Through this project, Longmont travelers can try out three different types of on-street bicycle facilities and give their feedback! Learn more about the project >

Tour the Project

Ride with Transportation Planner, Phil Greenwald, and Traffic Safety Coordinator, Lauren Greenfield on an informative and casually paced ride to experience the different bike lanes being tested. Join City staff afterwards to discuss thoughts and feedback on the project. June 28, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Meet at Tasty Weasel 5:30 ready to ride at 5:45.
