Amendments to Air New Zealand Trans-Tasman Fares
Air New Zealand wish to advise of the following amendments to our Trans-Tasman fares for sales and travel effective from 14 June 2018.
A summary of the changes is listed below.

Trans-Tasman Day Of Week (DOW) surcharges across all markets:
Introduction of a day of week (Q) surcharge of +$10 one-way for travel on Thu, Fri or Sun on selected Economy Smart Saver (W, T, G, X) and Premium Economy (A & O class) fares

All existing bookings must be ticketed on or before 13 June 2018. Any un-ticketed or new bookings issued on 14 June 2018 must be ticketed using the new fare structure. Updated fare sheets to follow.
GDS will be updated on 14 June 2018 to reflect these changes.
Group Bookings
All new group bookings that are made from 14 June 2018 will be subject to the fare increases.
For group bookings quoted prior to 13 June are exempt from the fare amendments if:
- The booking is confirmed before 5pm, 13 June 2018
- A deposit is on file or booking is ticketed
Please note that any of the following changes made to group bookings made from 14 June 2018 will be subject to the new long term fares:
- Routing change
- Flight numbers
- Additional passengers
- Date/time changes
