With the official start of summer around the corner, it’s a wonderful time as a family to enjoy outdoor activities like Elizabeth City’s Downtown Waterfront Market—now celebrating its 10-year anniversary. We have compiled a list of child-friendly activities in the region to keep you busy during the summer break.
Every Saturday during the months of May through October, the Elizabeth City community congregates at Mariners’ Wharf Park, not only to enjoy fresh produce and locally made arts and crafts, but to take in the beautiful view of the harbor.
