“You are the future,
The red sky before sunrise
Over the fields of time.”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke
From The Book of Pilgrimage
The future unfolds before us with the brightness, hope and promise of sunrise.
ARISE is in a new space with room to grow new programs, partnerships and possibilities. Our hearts burst with gratitude for those who helped make our move possible, most especially Armour Heights Presbyterian Church for the gracious hospitality. We are also grateful for Salvation Army Corps 614 where we have had our offices and shared ministry together, we pray God’s continued blessing upon them.
When we set goals with our program participants it is looking to the future with hope and possibility, the reminder of what the sunrise and a new day bring.
We also set goals for ourselves as an organization, to grow and continue to meet the needs of our community. We look forward to having you join us on foot or on bike for Ride for Refuge as we raise funds and journey, reaching out for this future together.
You are also invited to our 5th Anniversary celebration as we express our gratitude and celebrate all that has been and all that is to come. We will celebrate the ways God is and continues to be our future, unfolding as a red sky before the sunrise with all the beauty and possibilities before us!
May your summer be filled with wonder and the beauty of red skies.
Blessings,
Rev. Deb Stanbury Rapport
