A tale I read

A tale I heard

Chris Rock talking about the famous last White House Party of Barack Obama’s second term as US President:

"I was there. It was scary, it was sad, it was daunting. I remember just hanging out and, first of all, every black person was there - Jay-Z, Beyonce, Oprah. It was like I’d died and gone to black heaven. I remember at one point of the night I was with Michelle Obama and she was kinda sad and she’s like: ‘I don’t know what we’re gonna do. I don’t know what’s gonna happen.’ And I was like: ‘You’ll be alright! You’ll be alright, you know, Housewives of Atlanta or something. You’ll get on something. You will be fine.’ And she looks at me and goes: ‘I was talking about the country...’ I have never felt so stupid in my life."

A tale I wrote

Barry kicked off his shoes,
farted as loudly as he could
and just bloody relaxed.
Everyone in the office thought
he was so cool.
