🎵 IT’S SO HAAARD TO SAY GOODBYE TO YESTERDAY 🎶
This marks our final week in the old studio homestead. There are a lot of memories here that chronicle the metamorphosis of our collective over the last 16 years. RAID had it’s humble beginnings in unit 403 of 533 College Street in Toronto’s Little Italy in 2002. We had a big move once before but it was in the same familiar building, down a floor to unit 304, and so only nominal changes in day to day operation occurred. The most predominant was happily only having to hike up one less floor whenever the elevator broke.

This next stage is definitely bigger with an intoxicating mix of fear and excitement! We’re moving across the city, to a building three times the size of our last one, and to boot, we’re going to be street level allowing us to interact with the community in a way we never have before. We're starting a whole new journey and are beyond excited with what  opportunities and challenges await us in the prospective years to come.

RAID TWO
Another peek into RAID TWO with a look at some of Willow Dawson’s concept art for LITTLE SISTER LITTLE BROTHER an adaptation of a classic fairytale by the Brothers Grimm. Willow was  a long time member of RAID and left when motherhood and family became her praimary focus and we’re excited to have her rejoin us if only in our anthology! Check out Willow’s newly released book WHITE AS MILK RED AS BLOOD which we’ll chat with her about in the months to come, along with her RAID TWO short story, and clear love of fairytales.

ON THE SHELVES
STAR WARS: LANDO - DOUBLE OR NOTHING #2
Written by Rodney Barnes with art by Paolo Villanelli. Cover by Cameron Stewart

Lando Calrissian isn't one to stick his neck out...unless there are credits to be had for it. So, when he finds himself fighting for oppressed workers in a droid junkyard, they'd better hope their freedom is worth something to him... RAID's own Cameron Stewart lends hit talents to the Galaxy far, far, away.

CAPTAIN CANUCK VOL. 2: THE GAUNTLET
Written by, with cover also by, Kalman Andrasofszky and interior art by Leonard Kirk.

Site Aleph is secured and Equilibrium is ready to explode onto the world stage. So everything's great, right? Wrong! Mr. Gold is still at large, Marla Ritchie is still missing, and Captain Canuck will move heaven and Earth to find them both. The Gauntlet collects Captain Canuck #7-11 and features the comics debut of Blue Fox and the first appearance of the all-new, rebooted Northguard, now starring in his own solo series!

The Super Sons are on the run after discovering Superboy's dark destiny - and the Batman of Tomorrow has recruited the Teen Titans to stop them! But the reunion gives way to the big question: Is the life of an innocent child worth more than the lives of millions? It's the Teen Titans vs. the Super Sons in the battle you've been waiting for!
