Wed, June 20th, 5:30-7:30pm at Rosa Parks Elementary
We're excited to see our incoming families tomorrow night! There will be games and food, including "Joe's Concessions" and "Mini the Doughnut" . Meet on the Rosa Parks field from 5:30 to 7:30.
Please come dressed according to your incoming grade to meet new friends:
Future Kindergarteners: Red
Future 1st graders: Orange
Future 2nd graders: Yellow
Future 3rd graders: Green
Future 4th graders: Blue
Future 5th graders: Purple
Future Quest Students: White
Stop by the PTSA table to say hi, talk to us about plans for next year, sign up for a volunteer spot or two, and sign up for an account on our website. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Graphic Design
Use your artistic skills to make us beautiful! Graphics needed for the PTSA website, newsletter, and spirit wear.
Affinity Program Chair
Work with local companies and organizations to set up discounts or special offers that offer a donation or percentage back to the PTSA-related to personal shopping or an event. These include Amazon Smile, Kroger Rewards, Party Everything, professional soccer/baseball/basketball fundraiser games and seasonal events.
Carnival Chair
The carnival is an evening of safe, family-friendly fun to celebrate the end of the year. The chair promotes the event within the school and organizes volunteers and families who are willing to make and decorate games, activities and stations. The chair also coordinates any rental equipment and food vendors. Working with the volunteer director the chair will confirm the volunteer needs for set up/clean up, ticket sales and station management.
Scholastic Book Fair Chair
Organize the Scholastic Book Fair, Date TBD.
Work with the Scholastic Representative, the librarian and the PTSA to promote the event, select the books, train volunteers, set up the physical space to sell the books and tally sales. This is typically a week long event with store hours during school and before and after school.
Box Tops Chair
Organize the Box Tops & Labels for the school. Clip, sort & count the labels and mail them in according to the deadline. Typically happens quarterly. Promote in the weekly PTSA newsletter. Organize any classroom competition and prizes.
General Volunteers
Willing to lend a hand here and there, but none of these positions sound like your cup of tea? Sign up as a general volunteer! When a need arises, we'll email our general volunteers and give them the option to participate. To sign up, go to our webpage http://www.EllaBakerPTSA.org, then click on "PTSA", then "Volunteer". You'll create an account for yourself on the website, then sign up as a volunteer.
2018-19 PTSA BUDGET
At the June General Membership Meeting, the operating budget for next school year was reviewed and approved. The budget is now posted on our website - link here
