5 MORE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED, click on the box below!  

Field Day is a celebration of the end of the school year with a lot of activities and games.  There will be fun stations like water balloon toss, reverse dunk tank (bring change of clothes), 50 yard dash, and of course cold treats! The stations are both inside the school and outside on the playground, each run by a teacher and at least one parent volunteer.    Parents and guardians are welcome to join, this one is going to be FUN!  

Students are encouraged to wear their Walk-a-Thon t-shirts or Lafayette spirit wear to promote school spirit. Be prepared for a HOT day - kiddos will need sunscreen, water bottles and a change of clothes.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
It's hard to believe our 5th Graders will be starting middle school!  The success of our students is a testament to their hard work, parents and guardians and to all of their teachers that have brought them to this moment.

If you are at school for Field Day, make sure stop by and take a look at the Lost & Found because time is running out, any unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity.
CONGRATULATIONS to Ms. Joseph's kindergarten class, the winner of the last Box Tops collection. All of those little pink coupons have earned the class a Box Tops party.  Ms. Joseph has incorporated this fundraiser into a learning opportunity.  Her class is encouraged to turn in Box Tops because they bundle them by tens and use them as a lesson in counting.  The class enjoys collecting them because she makes learning so fun!
