Marston’s Brewery
Marstons Brewery want to build a family pub on the recreation field adjacent to St Johns Church, West Byfleet. This plan ignores the fact that the space is specified as green space in the West Byfleet Neighbourhood Plan and should therefore not be developed.
Marstons are holding a consultation
TOMORROW (21 June) in the Dora Honnor Room at St John’s Church, Camphill Road, West Byfleet, KT14 6EH:
between 4pm and 8pm.
WBNF and the RA are very much opposed to the plan and we should support them as fundamental principles underlying the adoption of neighbourhood plans are very much at stake. If planners can ignore the community plan in West Byfleet what chance do we stand on issues in Pyrford?

Heritage Display
The Heritage Display sponsored by an SCC grant, through Cllr Liz Bowes, has been delivered and will be erected very shortly.
Greenbelt Review/Upshot Lane Fields
The final stage of consultation, known as Regulation 19 remains on track. Publication of revised development proposals are expected in September and the final 6 week consultation should be in October/November this year. A public hearing is likely, but not before Easter 2019.
Pyrford Flower Show
We will have a stall at the Flower Show on 14 July so please do pop along for an update and to make us aware of your concerns.
