Hi Junior Church Parents!

As the summer begins and Junior Church comes to a close here are a few announcements before we go on break:

End of Year Celebration - THIS SUNDAY we’re hoping all of our Junior Churchers can be at St. Olave’s. The children will receive recognition for being part of Junior Church and we’ll also be having a special speaker from Sleeping Children Around the World. After we hear from the speaker the children will also sing “Jesus Loves Me”. Then, Junior Church will be hosting the fellowship hour outside with hotdogs and more. Games will include a water balloon toss so please pack some extra clothing. I'm also really excited to report we have a special visit from a steel pan band! It's going to be great!

Summer Worship - Junior Church may be on a break, but children are always welcome to worship with families. Consider the summer a great time for your kids to become more familiar with the rhythm and music of our services. The pew at the back of the church is stocked with crayons and colour books, and there will be lemonade on the lawn after most Sunday services.

July 29, 4 p.m. - St. Olave’s Day (Patronal Festival) is going to be a great day of celebrations at St. Olave’s. After the Choral Evensong service we'll have another BBQ on the lawn. If enough families can make it we’ll have some activities for the kids and a special Junior Church during the service. I have heard back from some of you but it would be great to hear from everyone whether you're planning to attend. Please contact me ASAP.
