Greetings, friends-

A little news of upcoming and recent events.

And a thought: all of my grandparents were immigrants, I have lived between countries as an immigrant for decades myself, and most of the amazing people I have worked with over the last 30 years have been immigrants. I'm motivated to learn more about the impact of trauma as I think about racism and as I watch the appalling policies of the current US administration unfold on, inside and outside the country's borders. Below are some resources I've found useful in that process.

And a big thank you to the many people who have joined the UNDER | STAND project on racism in the last months, at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, at Smith College and in the community of Northampton, MA through Studio4, and in Berlin, Germany. I am inspired by the open conversations on hard topics and your willingness to take action!

I wish you all peace, strength and joy in the summer days-

Dana

Residency at PACT Zollverein, Spring 2019

I'm very excited to join the MichaelDouglas Kollektiv for a month-long residency at the PACT Zollverein, creating a new public action model focusing on polarization. PACT is an amazing hub with a big vision for what art can be and do. More here:
