newsWhat has been agreed so far in the EU-UK negotiations

On the 20th June, the UK and the EU published the following joint statement, which outlines what has been agreed after nearly two years of negotiations. The paper is only fourteen pages long so the short answer is not much. Any business owner who is subject to customs databases at EU level should definitely read this paper, as it specifies when access to these databases will drop away.

The text of the joint statement can be found here Joint_Statement_-_19_June_2018.pdf

Time is rapidly running out for anything sensible to be negotiated - ratification is due to start by mid October 2018, so that the Withdrawal Agreement can be agreed to and ratified by all countries prior to taking effect by the end of March 2019.
