In 2016 I learned how to license natural health products with Health Canada and started Zettl Health Inc. (o/a Jackson's Naturals). I wanted to provide my clients and Canadians with high quality homeopathic products that are free from many of the fillers that are in products on the market today. Why Jackson's and not Zettl's? Well, how many of you can spell or pronounce Zettl with confidence? ;) Jackson is my other family name.
Did you know every other homeopathic remedy (in pellet/pill form) available in Canada has the animal by-product, lactose, in it? Most homeopathic combinations on the shelves contain way too many remedies to possibly be effective and the non-medicinal ingredients in topical preparations is frankly shocking. I think homeopathy can be represented better than this in Canada.
I also think that with the right intervention, homeopathics, can reduce and prevent the need of stronger medications. I have a theory that if you take care of the small things in your health (without suppressing the symptoms), the big stuff might not show up or with the same vengeance. I have observed that, for the most part, people like to be independant in maintaining their health and I want to provide natural interventions that help them do just that.
I started by working with world-renowned pharmacy Helios Homeopathy in the UK to license their range of award-winning combinations and a 18 remedy kit in Canada. They have been the main supplier of my clinic stock for the last 15 years purely due to the high quality and reliability of their remedies.
Next, Miranda Castro, perhaps one of the most well-known and experienced homeopaths in the world, granted me the rights to distributing her range of products in Canada. Her first product for Bones, Hair, Nails, and Teeth will become available next month. Her two topical preparations, one for Joint & Muscle Pain and one for Scars, will become available later this summer and have already generated a huge amount of interest and pre-sales.
Finally, Jackson's own line has been released. We have started with Schussler Cell Salts, Jackson's Mineral Salts, the only vegan and organic line available in Canada. Schussler Cell Salts are micro-doses of the twelve most common inorganic salts found in your body that help regulate and balance important functions. I use them commonly in practice to support the action of homeopathic remedies, help absorption of vitamins and minerals, and regulate bodily functions with clients.
