This first part is a repeat of last week, but I still want to get the word out about it.

Our summer writing series registration is open! In July, the Graduate Writing Center hosts workshops covering three parts of a research paper: introduction, literature review, and results.

Don't write alone, join a writing group! The Graduate Writing Center hosts master's and doctoral writing groups this summer starting July 5. Space is limited so sign up today!

Drop-ins are over for the term. The Graduate Writing Center has appointments in their offices for you during summer term.
 

Inspiration Dissemination

Featuring OSU graduate students and their work Sunday nights on FM 88.7 KBVR or streaming at http://www.orangemedianetwork.com/kbvr_fm/. This Sunday at 6 p.m. is Hannah Gossner, Integrative Biology–ocean acidification and local shellfish, with hosts: Kristen and Harrison. Don't forget to subscribe to the new again podcast!

OSU Events

From Corvallis to Hollywood. Commencement speaker Harley Jessup (BFA ’76) and screenwriter Mike Rich (‘81) will discuss their work in a program centered on clips from their most iconic films. Moderated by Peter Betjemann, Director of the School of Writing, Literature, and Film. Friday, June 15 at 4 to 5:30 p.m. LaSells Stewart Center, Construction and Engineering Hall.

Commencement Ceremony in Corvallis is Saturday, June 16 at Reser Stadium 10:30 a.m. in Reser Stadium. Line up begins at 9 a.m. Graduate students report to the Valley Library Quad. And on Sunday, June 17 at noon at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend for OSU-Cascades.

OSUsed Store Saturday Yard Sale. The OSUsed Store is open for a Saturday Yard Sale, which will include special merchandise from Res. Hall Move-Out such as lamps, rugs, décor, small furniture, mini fridges, electronics, OSU gear and other housewares. Merchandise will also include the standard fare of used furniture (desks, file cabinets, tables, chairs, bookcases, etc.), computers and computer accessories, office supplies, bicycles, household items, and much more.

Free Movies at AMC. FREE movie night of your choice with your valid OSU student ID! Every second & fourth Saturday of each month (excluding holidays). Ticket vouchers will be distributed between 8:50 p.m. until the start of the last show time, or until 100 tickets are given away. Tickets will be distributed at the AMC Theater and must be used that same night. You MUST present your OSU Student ID to receive a free ticket. Saturday, June 22 at 8:50 to 10:30 p.m. AMC Corvallis 12, 750 NE Circle Blvd.
