Have you noticed that we change up the three buttons on the homepage of my website, www.deborahharkness.com, based upon the most frequently asked questions from readers?
Right now, clicking on one of those three buttons will take you to (1) updates and info about TIME'S CONVERT, (2) the latest TV NEWS, or (3) MY CALENDAR of events, including the book tour for TIME'S CONVERT with updates about specific events as they become available.
Keep an eye on those buttons!

PS. When is Narrator Appreciation Day??
Saskia Maarleveld deserves all the kudos for her amazing interpretation of THE WORLD OF ALL SOULS. Not easy to dramatize an encyclopedia, but she nailed it!

Today’s #behindthescenespost for #throwbackthursday captures the moment I first saw Ysabeau (Lindsay Duncan) and Marthe (Sorcha Cusack). I was running back to the production trailer to charge my phone. Down the path, moving in the other direction, were two women lost in conversation. They looked up. Smiled. I almost fell over, they so perfectly captured my characters. Here they are a few minutes later, rehearsing.
Fun fact: one of the pictures I had to inspire me when writing Ysabeau was of Lindsay Duncan playing the original Marquise de Merteuil in LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES. So she has always been part of my Ysabeau. ♥️
