Bluegrass powerhouse women Kristy Cox and Amanda Cook head to the Floyd Country Store this Saturday, June 16 as part of their Southern Sisters Bluegrass Tour. They bring with them a band of stellar musicians for a concert that you will not want to miss!

High Fidelity with Gina & Jason Dilg

High Fidelity is a traditional bluegrass band comprised of young musicians with a passion for the past. The band draws much of their inspiration from musicians such as Reno & Smiley, The Stanley Brothers, The Louvin Brothers, Jim & Jesse, and a host of lesser known regional artists from the same era. Many have described them as the new Johnson Mountain Boys, interpreting classic era bluegrass through the fresh, young perspective of today’s generation. The night will also feature a set by Gina & Jason Dilg, a local old time duo with entrancing fiddle/banjo instrumentals and duets with delightful vocal harmonies.

JMRR’s professionalism, engaging presentation, and successful, heavily played recordings have kept them in demand with a national audience. Fans across the continent and Europe have experienced their energetic performances at esteemed concert productions including the National Folk Festival, Bluegrass Underground, Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman, and the Grand Ole Opry.
