Greetings!

Last month, we hosted the Creative Arts Showcase, which gave patients and families an opportunity to share their unique and inspirational stories.
 
We want to thank members of the community and UCSF staff who attended the event. We also want to thank playwriting students from the Oakland School for the Arts, who composed and performed adaptations of patient-created poems. The original poems were facilitated by our amazing poets, Kathy and Sally.

Additional shout-outs go to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and Kids & Art, who contributed inspiring patient-created pieces to an impressive gallery. 

Last but far from least, we thank the patients and families who shared their stories, and we thank the donors who fund creative arts positions at UCSF, making all of this possible.
