Mark Webb will be bringing the message this Sunday, June 17, entitled, A LOT to Do” from Joshua 18:1-10 and 19:49-51. Remember, it’s Father’s Day!

Announcements 

Adult Sunday School Classes – This summer all adult classes will come together to study the book of Galatians. We will also dedicate one Sunday a month to highlight a missionary or ministry we support.

Backyard Bible Club – July 10 – 13. For the kids of our church and community. To learn about ways you can serve, contact Cyndi Larson 662.902.8373. Anyone interested in providing or helping with snacks contact Andrea Shannon 662.645.8777.

Young Women’s Bible Study – Will meet this summer on Wednesdays from 10-11:30 in the parlor, now through August 1 to study 1 Samuel. Childcare is provided for infant-school aged children. Contact Leslie Dean 601.260.2288 for more info.

Young Men’s Study – Will meet Tuesday mornings at Meraki from 6-7:00 am. We’ll be going through the book “Act Like Men” by James MacDonald. Contact Mark Noland 662.902.6130 for more info.

Prayer Requests & Praises

Pat Giles – Continued prayers for successful treatments for cancer. She will be taking a second week of
treatments this coming week.
Sybil Foster –Continued prayers for Alice’s mother.
Robbie Linley, Clarksdale Police Dept. –He has been released from the hospital and is in Jackson for
rehab. Continued prayers for successful recovery.
Mary Haley Windham -Claire Drew’s great-niece Is at the Med Trauma Center. She suffered a stroke
and possible heart attack this week. Doctors are not sure of the cause and are running tests. Please
pray for complete healing and recovery.
