Special Message

Thank you, Mayor Stanton

The Phoenix IDA would like to thank Mayor Greg Stanton for his many years of public service and constant support of the Phoenix IDA mission. We are also grateful for Mayor Stanton's leadership in selecting and, along with the city council, appointing the talented community leaders who serve on our board of directors.

We look forward to continuing to work with interim Mayor Thelda Williams to positively impact vulnerable populations and underserved communities across Phoenix.

School Career Day brings together 28 professionals

Phoenix K-8 charter school Academia Del Pueblo strives to educate its students about the diversity of opportunities available to them in the future. The Phoenix IDA is proud to help support the school's efforts by sponsoring its annual Career Day.  This year, Phoenix IDA CEO Juan Salgado and Board Member Lawrence Robinson helped kickoff the event, which brought 28 professionals from 25 different disciplines to speak to students.

The Phoenix chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. welcomes activist, author to Economic Empowerment Expo

Author, CEO, and activist for economic empowerment and justice, Maggie Anderson, visited Phoenix in May to serve as the keynote speaker of this year's Madam CJ Walker Economic Empowerment Expo. This annual event is organized by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter.

The Phoenix IDA was honored to sponsor this event to make it possible for Ms. Anderson to share her passion and strategies for "Buying, Banking, and Building Black."
