We said good-bye to our last guests yesterday. The guestroom has hardly been vacant since the beginning of May. But it was a privilege to host this couple, a part of a Bible translation team, for a week as they worked to get a New Testament ready for publishing. They have become friends over the years, but they are also the kind of people Shekinah Ranch is for.

Last month, we met three new friends, who had heard about Shekinah Ranch from Oliver, the founder of EdenRidge. Brian & Cary had spent years in Asia. We enjoyed swapping stories. Cary especially has had a vision to start a place for missionaries which is why they wanted to visit. Christy also has a heart for Shekinah Ranch type ministry, and being an interior designer she has offered to help with that part of the construction. It also turned out that we know her uncle and his wife from CareGivers Forum.
Rob's children Emily and Nate were a huge help with tarring the foundation, and Rob insulated it. This week will be busy for Don, and a couple of helpers (Rob & Dave), as they finish back filling the foundation inside and outside before the plumber comes. Please pray that the plumber and all other subcontractors would come on time. The forecast promises much needed rains, but we are praying for good enough weather and for no equipment breakdowns for the work to get done. Just enough moisture to keep the dust down. The dump truck had two flat tires last week, delaying the work. Please pray that it would run without any further problems.

We appreciate your interest in and prayer for Shekinah Ranch, and we always welcome any comments or questions.
