Greetings BRRC! I hope your running and heat acclimation is going well! Summer is here and we have a busy running schedule for you! Here is your Club’s June Newsletter!
BRRC Club Picnic and Awards!
Our annual BRRC Club Picnic is on Sunday, June 24th, 1 PM. If you have not signed up, please do so, as we could use a headcount for our caterer. Attendance is free to our members and your guests. Great food and beverages, the picnic is always a good time! We will have fun recognizing a few of our over achievers, presenting lots of awards.
We will also present our The Charlie Reynolds Memorial Scholarships, named for our late president,. These scholarships recognize graduating high school student athletes (male and female) who exemplify Charlie’s commitment to and passion for running.
Congratulations to Our Father’s Day 5k Runners!
90 finishers started Father’s Day out with a warm run on the NCR, results are on our website. This was our 5th of 9 GPS races, and the standings are getting interesting! A Big Thanks to our Race Director Stephan Herman and our volunteers Tony Chaprnka, Mindy Gunther, Vicki Creutzer, Denise Owens, Dan Macedo, Ronald Katzen, Earl Swartenzdruber, and Nut Hall.
