How can you help someone with mental illness who refuses treatment or medication?

The LEAP (Listen, Empathize, Agree, and Partner) Program was developed by expert psychologist Dr. Xavier Amador, author of the book, "I AM NOT SICK. I Don't Need Help."  
  • Day 1 (Thursday, November 15, Salt Lake City, UT) covers the LEAP Approach and is in Salt Lake City. This is a prerequisite to Day 2 or Day 3.
  • Day 2 (Friday, November 16, Park City, UT) is a Train The Trainer for professionals. CEU Credits Eligible. Prerequisite: Day 1.
  • Day 3 (Saturday, November 17 in Park City, UT) is a Train The Trainer for Family, Friends and Peers. Prerequisite: Day 1. 
Early Bird Deadline is October 20th.

Please join fellow Summit County community members in supporting Live PC Give PC on Friday, November 9! It’s a powerful 24-hour day of giving and an extraordinary opportunity to support the local nonprofit organizations that help to make Park City a special place to live and work. Funds raised from Live PC Give PC go back into quarterly Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings held at the Utah Olympic Park.
