Police Department



The Sun Prairie Police Department continues to receive reports of thefts from motor vehicles. We urge you to remove any valuables from your vehicle and to keep it locked! Please report any suspicious activity including persons attempting to pull on vehicle door handles, looking into windows, etcetera.

Public Works
Spring Brush & Yard Waste Collections
To ensure collection of your materials, please make sure they are set out properly by 7:00 AM on the first day of the collection week. To view the schedule for the entire year, it can be found here.
 
Brush collection will occur for all routes beginning on Monday, July 9. Have all materials out properly by 7:00 AM to ensure collections. For more information on proper set out visit the Public Works brush webpage.
 
Spring yard waste collections were completed on Thursday, May 31. If you missed the curbside collections, yardwaste can also be taken to the Recycle Center with a permit.

Summer Library Program 2018: Libraries Rock!
From 0 to 100 – there’s a summer library program for everyone!  Keep track of the reading you do this summer and win prizes!  Registration for all programs begins June 6.  Rock and read at the library this summer!

Watch a movie and build with Lego® bricks!  Movie will start at 1:30pm.

Teen Monday Madness
A different program every Monday? That’s madness! Teen Monday Madness programs meet on Monday each week 2:00-4:00 from June 18-July 23. Just for teens in grades 6 through 12! The theme for Monday, June 25th is Flair Day! Registration is required for all Monday Madness programs. Teens must register themselves at the Children's desk.

Family Main Event: Zoozort Mini Zoo
Join us for this live animal walk through zoo!  See these amazing animals up close, and learn more about them!  This is a walk through program. Doors open at noon and close at 4pm. Children under 8 must be supervised at all times by their adult.
