Happy Independence Day

This is the time that we come together as a Nation and celebrate Independence Day.  USMWF wants to wish you and your families a safe and happy 4th of July.

A FEW IMPORTANT SAFETY TIPS THIS 4th OF JULY...by FEMA
  • Always have an adult supervise fireworks activities and never allow children to play with or ignite fireworks.
  • If you set off fireworks, keep a bucket of water handy in case of malfunction or fire.
  • If fireworks malfunction, don’t relight them! Douse and soak them with water then throw them away.
  • Never ignite fireworks in a container, especially one that is glass or metal.

Workplace Safety Should Be A Top Priority...

USMWF family member victims know and understand that going to work should not be a grave mistake however, sadly there are over 14 workers killed each day in the United States due to a work related incident.

OSHA's Safe + Sound Week , August 13-19, 2018 is a nationwide event to raise awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs in workplaces.

During this week, we ask you to host safety events and activities that shows how to keep the workplace safe through management leadership, worker participation, and finding and fixing hazards.

USMWF invites you to join us the cause by participating in OSHA's Safe + Sound Week August 13-19, 2018.  OSHA has many resources out there for you to use enabling you to participate in this important safety week.

USMWF would like to thank you for your donation. Your financial support helps us continue our mission in assisting families that have forever been affected by a work-related incident.
