Wellness Ambassador Profile
"Having a (wellness) kick-off event is also super helpful! It creates excitement, and people have the opportunity to see what activities initiatives you are offering and how you plan on building them. Also, look to your coworkers for support and network building."

Brown Rice Breakfast Porridge A great alternative to oatmeal.
Farro with Wild Mushrooms – Chef John says, "We don't get to eat a lot of food that's identical to what the ancient Romans would have eaten, which is one of the things that makes farro so fun. They must have had mushrooms and fermented cream back then, so it's easy to imagine Cleopatra and Mark Antony enjoying this dish."
Loaded Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich - Thick and fluffy whole grain bread stuffed with layers of thinly sliced fresh vegetables, jalapeno-cilantro hummus, feta cheese, and a surprise ingredient – peppadew peppers. Light, healthy, and oh so flavorful!

Seeds of Well-being

Are you ready to make your well-being a priority this year?

Research suggests that well-being is not something static to be acquired, but something that we can actively cultivate and grow over time. Staff and Faculty Health and Well-being is pleased to present our Seeds of Well-being program. Offered in a supportive community environment over the course of the academic year, Seeds of Well-being is designed to help you learn practical ways of growing your well-being. Sessions will include topics such as savoring the positive, cultivating gratitude and practicing self compassion.

Registration details coming soon!

For more information, please email Staff and Faculty Health and Well-being at wellbeing@ucdavis.edu.
