Our School Value for Term Two
Respect/
Whakaute
Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Our Matariki celebrations were the perfect way to celebrate mid-year and the end of Term 2. Thank you to all our staff and whanau who were involved in the organisation of the activities and supported the Hangi. It was a great example of community and whanaungatanga.  Well done everyone.

We have had a very successful term with our students achieving in all spheres of school life. Our sports teams, Literacy Teams, Maths and Chess teams have all achieved extremely well, winning their zone competitions and have gone on to represent our school in the respective regional finals. Congratulations, you have done our school proud.

The mid-year reports will be handed out on Friday. These are interim reports and should be a reflection of the conversations held at the parent/ teacher interviews earlier on in the term. As it is an interim report, I welcome any feedback in the design of our end of year reports.

Farewell
We say farewell to Miss Grout-Brown who will be taking up a teaching position at Hobsonville Point Secondary School next term. May I take this opportunity to thank her for her contribution to our school over the past couple of years and wish her all the very best for the future.

We extend a very warm welcome to Mr Dave Stenning, a teacher from Huapai School, who will be joining our staff.

Farewell to Whaea Hana, who has taught Te Reo at our school. We thank her for her expertise and contribution to the teaching of Te Reo and wish her well in her new chosen career.

A warm welcome to Mrs Burns and Miss Stewart who will be starting our latest new entrant class on day one of Term Three.

Kind regards,

Gary Pasfield
Principal
