Join Fern Street Circus for 4th of July in Chula Vista!
Celebrate the 4th of July with the City of Chula Vista's "Fourth Fest" at Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Fern Street Circus will have 2 performances featuring a live band and wonderful performers. Plus, there will be workshops for all to enjoy!
 
Showtimes: 2:00 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.

The event is free, open to the public, and all ages.

Fern Street Circus' educational programs are in full swing!
We are proud to announce that our After-School Circus Program in City Heights is being funded in 2018-19 by both the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the California Arts Council (CAC), as well as The De Falco Family Foundation, Downtown Lions Club, and David C. Copley Foundation. Thanks to the immense generosity of these foundations, our program will continue to operate all year long.

Fern Street Circus is also working at three Title I schools in the Diamond neighborhoods, Chollas-Mead, Johnson, and Webster Elementary Schools and with the Diamond Educational Excellence Partnership (DEEP). Funding is provided by the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture and the CAC.

We are excited that our educational work is being recognized as valuable to so many young people, and we are extremely grateful that we get to continue our efforts to bring circus entertainment to San Diego audiences.

“The Local Impact grant program strikes at the heart of the issue of access and equity in the arts,” said Nashormeh Lindo, California Arts Council. “Fern Street Circus’s project is crucial to help arts and culture opportunities reach California’s marginalized communities, and to promote the unique creative expressions within that community.”
