TERRIFIC TALES

Join the adventures of Issun Boshi the thumb-sized boy and Momotaro the little peach boy as they fight terrible Oni ogres. Be part of the chain story of Oni Wa Soto and get ready to help the poor old man who swallowed too many edamame beans. A perfect introduction to traditional Japanese folktales that will delight your little ones.

Dates & Timings:
Sundays in July | 11:30am - 12:15pm
Inclusive of a simple craft activity

Payment:
$10 per parent-and-child pair
for programmes in The White Box at The Artground, Goodman Arts Centre
Payment on-site.

We celebrate 1 year of Terrific Tales storytelling together with The Artground's 1st birthday!
Join our favourite Young Storytellers, Jeremy Leong and Daisy Mitchell for a tandem storytelling session featuring both of them!
As its a special birthday party, we're going on a story adventure to bake the perfect birthday cake - and as always, we want our little listeners to participate as the tale unfolds.

ONCE UPON A TIME STORYTELLING

Gateway Theatre - Saturdays at 11:00am

Join our Young Storytellers at the Gateway Kids Club 'Once Upon A Time' storytelling sessions. We will be telling stories three times a month on Saturdays at The Gateway Theatre until end of this year. FREE admission.

Listen to the classic childhood favourite of Peter Rabbit and follow him on his bunny adventures. Join our Young Storytellers in a fun participative storytelling experience.

Little Red Hen's Birthday,

It's time to help Little Red Hen bake her special birthday cake! Come join our Young Storytellers and be a part of this tale as you take part in the fun!

A MUSICAL STORYTELLING ADVENTURE

Saturday 14 July | 3:00pm & 5:30pm | Singapore Conference Hall

Let's go on a musical storytelling adventure to The Enchanted Mountain and The Bamboo Grove. Join our storyteller as he meets musical instruments from the Chinese orchestra and learn to identify them yourself! After the storytelling session, colour your favourite instruments and take your drawings home.

Based on Singapore Chinese Orchestra's audio book Musical Adventures of Quek Quek with accompaning recorded music by SCO. Part of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra's Open House programming - FREE admission.

BEDTIME STORIES

Sunday 15 July | 10am, 11am, 11:45am | Toa Payoh Central

Come join our storyteller on a 'Bedtime Stories' installation bed! Listen to familiar folk and fairy tales suitable for little listeners.

FREE admission - Part of PA Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC Whimsical Arts Wonderland programming.

THE UGLY DUCKLING

A classic fairytale of accepting differences. Sing along to this story of a mother duck and her children. Join our Young Storytellers as they share stories for family audiences. FREE admission.
