The Breakfast Meeting at the superb Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy was enjoyed by all with Rick Simmonds from Wessex FM presenting 25 years of the radio station. In 1993 John Major was PM and Web had just been invented! Full details of this event here.

To celebrate their 100th year the Chamber is having a large lorry float in the Carnival Procession. The theme is "The Beach". You could promote your business if you get involved, distribute your leaflets with us. We also seek Beach props for the float, tables, deckchairs, beach balls etc - can you help.  NEW WPCC Service,Trade And Retail Awards (S.T.A.R.)

  • You will be positively mystery shopped and will receive a confidential report which you can keep for absolutely nothing. These reports are usually very £200 per business although the results can often help any business to grow exponentially.
  • Finalists and a guest will be invited to a lavish ceremony with a 3 course meal arranged by Students of the Hix Academy.
  • Annual membership to the Weymouth & Portland Chamber of Commerce during the centenary year 2019. (Please note if you are already a chamber member you will win a credit for 2019) standard cost for established businesses is £99
  • Winners will be announced in the local media.
