Tips for working with fearful animals this 4th of July
This time of year can be a very scary, confusing time for animals. Loud noises, strong vibrations of fireworks, bright flashing lights overhead, parties, and more.
The sounds, sights, and vibrations from fireworks can cause many unexpected consequences such as growling from fear, a parrot to fly unexpectedly, and animals running outdoors. This is all preventable and we discuss how to prevent this in this live stream.
Below is a live stream of this past Sunday's, weekly episode of Coffee With The Critters, which airs at 9 AM EST on The Animal Behavior Center's Facebook page.
In this live stream, I show several examples of things we can do to prepare our animals for, not only the 4th of July but also for unpredictable encounters that may otherwise reinforce fear.
