Melanie Bates Elected to the American Bar Association's Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice Leadership Council 

Chicago, Illinois -- Melanie Bates Consulting, LLC's Principal, Melanie E. Bates, Esq. was elected to serve on the Leadership Council of the American Bar Association's Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice. Her nomination was unanimously approved during the CRSJ Leadership Luncheon held August 3, 2018, at the 2018 ABA Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. 

The ABA CRSJ's mission is to raise and address often complex and difficult civil rights and civil liberties issues in a changing and diverse society and ensure that protection of individual rights remains a focus of legal and policy decisions. The CRSJ is comprised of many distinguished attorneys from a variety of sectors including law firms, nonprofit organizations, and academia.
