JULY 2018

We have  jam-packed two weeks of children activities to keep your kids entertained these school holidays. Plus, Author Talks, shows, storytime for adults and more.
Childrens Holidays at Our Libraries
These school holidays Celebrate NAIDOC Week with Marngrook, the first Australian Football Game!

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Celebrate it with us and learn how football began in Australia.

Have a kick of a possum-skin football from the past, as local expert Jim Poulter gives us the history of the indigenous game. He will be joined by AFL Women's League player Aliesha Newman. Aliesha will help demonstrate the game, and tell us a bit about her experience of playing for Melbourne at this exciting time for football in Australia. Book now!

Other events in our Children's Holiday Program can be found HERE
