Keep Families Together March

CBID will be meeting up at 9am at Uptown Roasters - 7th ave and 10th St and then heading to Foley Square

via March Organizers:
On June 30, New Yorkers will join together with dozens of other cities in a National Day of Action to Fight for Families and to demand that Donald Trump and his administration stop separating kids from their parents! Families belong together, and we need to end this — NOW!

Every day, this administration threatens the very future of our communities. The conditions these children are being subjected to is deplorable and un-American. We hope to see thousands of people in the streets and at the border on June 30th demanding this policy end!

All New Yorkers are encouraged to attend! Families and children are welcome on Saturday, 6/30. This will be a permitted event. We will be meeting at Foley Square and marching across the Brooklyn Bridge to Cadman Plaza.

The current schedule is as follows:

10:00am - People begin gathering at Foley Square
10:30am - Preparing to step off for march
10:45am - Stepping off for march across Brooklyn Bridge
11:30am - Marchers begin arriving at Cadman Plaza in Brooklyn
11:45am - Official rally program starts
1:00pm - Rally concludes

To join the NYC organizing efforts for this action, please fill out this form: http://bit.ly/SupportJune30NYC

Note: Saturday is forecasted to be sunny and in the upper 80s. We advise everyone to dress comfortably and bring water to stay cool. There will be minimal shade, so we advise sunblock and hats to stay protected.

Dear Friend

Join us this Saturday June 30 at the Families Belong Together rally at the White House, in New York City and around the country to protest that thousands of migrant children remain separated from their parents with no path for reunification. We must ensure that this cruel policy is never repeated and stand against the entire attempt to build hatred against people fleeing starvation and oppression.
