Classroom Changes Coming
Beginning this fall, you may notice some changes to the web platform where your courses are offered. The UW MBA Consortium and all partner schools currently use D2L to deliver online classes. Over the next year, UW MBA Consortium classes will transition to offering all online courses through Canvas. Transition timelines for classes offered by partner schools may vary, but all will eventually be in Canvas. Once fully transitioned to Canvas, students will benefit by having one login for all classes (no more having to remember a different URL, username, or password for Consortium classes).
Consortium transition timeline
During Fall 2018, most classes will remain in D2L, with only a handful running in Canvas. More classes will transition during the 2018-19 academic year. Beginning in Summer 2019, all UW MBA Consortium classes will be offered in Canvas.
How will you access your class(es)?
To help identify whether your courses will be offered in Canvas or D2L during the transition phase, we'll be launching a new login page in August 2018 on the MBA Website. The page will specify where each class is offered and will provide login instructions to access D2L or Canvas.
