Rinehart Clinic welcomes new staff to our healthcare team
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Eli Andersen, our new ND. That’s right, ND – Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. He will join the care team in early July and will start seeing patients in August. Dr. Andersen will take an integrative approach to primary care, with a focus on wellness and on finding and treating the underlying causes of illness.
Dr. Andersen received his degree from National University of Natural Medicine in Portland. A life-long Oregonian and avid kayaker/surfer/paddle-boarder, he recently relocated to North Tillamook County and is looking forward to being part of the community. He is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese so will be a natural fit with the rest of our bilingual team.
Marge Jozsa, Rinehart Clinic CEO, is pleased the clinic will be able to offer a naturopathic approach to primary care. “It is unusual for a Federally Qualified Health Center to have a Naturopath as part of the team,” she said. “I believe Dr. Andersen will take our integrative approach to healthcare to a whole new level.”
We also recently welcomed a new Registered Nurse to the team: Delta, who has a strong focus on community health and patient-centered care, specializing in diabetes education.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University, and is a Certified Diabetes Educator.
