With summer weather truly upon us, the English Arts Chorale invites you to join them in the cool of St Mary’s Church, Reigate, to help further celebrate the renewal of its magnificent organ. As has now become customary for our summer concert, we offer a spiritually uplifting concert in lighter mood, one that this year is designed to highlight the organ’s renewed vigour.
We welcome the return of a much loved friend, the trumpeter Crispian Steele-Perkins, who will demonstrate, as only he can, the tone and flexibility of various members of the trumpet family. We are also delighted to welcome a newcomer to the Chorale’s team of professionals, James Gough. James was appointed our accompanist and organist earlier this year and he joins us from St Martin-in-the-Fields. We are sure our Reigate followers will quickly appreciate what a gifted successor to the redoubtable Ian Le Grice we have in James.
