July 2018 Newsletter:
June brings the beginning of summer when we take some time to reflect and re-energize after a busy school year. Some of our highlights include the BUZZKILL Campaign wrapping up at the end of June, 40 people being trained on how to serve alcohol responsibly, and welcoming two new individuals to our Board of Directors. Please visit us at upcoming summer events and public meetings in-between all the ice cream, corn on the cob, and fireworks!

Our Public Board Meeting will take place on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 2:30pm-4:00pm at Pleasant Valley Church. See more here

Responsible Beverage Server Training
Huge shout-out and thanks to Officer Bridget Klinger with the Winona Police Department for providing multiple trainings across Winona County! Her efforts ensure that people who serve alcohol know how to do so responsibly. Officer Klinger provided trainings for Whalen's at Westfield, the Steamboat Day's Celebration, and in St. Charles. We are so grateful to have her in our community! Thank you Bridget!

New Board of Directors
Last month we welcomed two new individuals to our Board of Directors, Greg Taylor from Leighton Broadcasting and Molly Dahl from Pleasant Valley Church. Greg will serve as a representative from the Media sector, and Molly will serve as a Parent representative. You can share any ideas or concerns you have for teen drug use with either of them.
