Wisconsin Artists Showcase

The Wisconsin Artists Showcase, 143 Washington St. in Spring Green, is temporarily closed for building improvements and for reorganization. When the building reopens later this summer, it will offer a gallery, and classroom and meeting space managed by The Arts Lab, a new organization. Arts Lab plans for the future include an arts supply shop and media studio. Please stay tuned for more information and opportunities as the Arts Lab and Gallery open the doors and welcomes the community to a new endeavor in the refurbished historic building.

Fire on the River & Sandbar Campout

July 7th & 8th

The John Dally/Ann Vetter family (FLOW members) started an annual tradition when their children were young of watching the Sauk Praire fireworks from their canoe and doing a quiet, moonlight guided river float home. Over the years, other friends and family have joined them making it a bigger and more festive yearly event.

Where: Our campsite will be on a sandbar about a 3 hour float down the Lower Wisconsin River from the Hwy 12 bridge in Sauk City

Friends of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway (FLOW), http://wisconsinriverfriends.org, will assist by helping line up a group rate for canoe and kayak rentals and shuttle. FLOW will also provide a motorized safety boat to keep an eye on the paddlers.

We will gladly answer your questions & concerns and give you the address and directions to the Dally / Vetter complex after you make your commitment to participate.

PLEASE RSVP IF YOU PLAN TO COME
(Sat/Sun or just Sun?)
