This documentary captures the interactions of an American poet and his class of teenage girls at a Honduran orphanage. Rescued from the streets of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, “Murder Capital of the World”, the girls find their voices in poetry as they heal traumas of their past and prepare to transition into an uncertain future.

All donations and a portion of our concessions sale proceeds will go to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) in their effort to provide legal support to immigrants and reunite families separated at the border.
