We are emailing you as you subscribe to our monthly email newsletter.
 
This may be something that you have actively done, or you may have received our previous newsletter ‘Quart’ which was a quarterly newsletter that we produced between 2002 and 2014 and we will have transferred your contact details to our new newsletter list.
 
Alternatively, your organisation may be a member of the CVS and as a member you will receive information from us, from time to time, including our newsletter.
 
As I am sure you are aware, the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into force on the 25th May this year. We haven’t chosen to seek consent from you in order to send you our newsletter as we are using ‘legitimate interest’ as the basis for contacting you, as you have expressed an interested in our work as a CVS, chosen to subscribe to our newsletter or your organisation is a member of the CVS.
 
We take appropriate steps  in accordance to with the GDPR to protect your data. Access to the newsletter mailing list is limited to the staff of DDCVS. We do not sell data to any organisation.

Please note that you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by going to the bottom of the email newsletter and clicking on unsubscribe. Or you can email us at the usual address enquiries@ddcvs.org.uk
If your organisation is a member of the CVS and you choose to unsubscribe from our newsletter we will try to contact you to see if another member of your organisation would like to receive it as we think it is important to keep our members up to date with local voluntary sector news and events. Unsubscribing from the newsletter doesn’t mean that you will miss out on hearing about our Annual General Meeting as it is a legal requirement to inform our members about our AGM.
