OUR NEWS
DTI SUPPORT SERVICES
Our community, research and workshops are important, but we also know that many organisations need tailored support. So we are very happy to publish our Member services plan. Find it here. We are an interdepartmental initiative, so our services draw on expertise from across the EBU and our Membership.

NORDIC COLLABORATION IN DRAMA CO-PRODUCTION AND STREAMING
In a great example of partnerships, the Director Generals of the five Nordic public service stations (DR, YLE, SVT, NRK and RÚV) have launched a new collaboration on drama, “Nordic12”, which will increase the volume as well as the quality of drama on TV and streaming services right across the region. ...AND PSM MUST COLLABORATE, BECUASE OUR COMPETITORS ARE...
Italian broadcaster Mediaset has revived its plan to create a pan-European broadcasting platform to compete with rivals such as France’s Vivendi and  OTT players like Netflix. They have already signed agreements with Sky Italia and Telecom Italia. More here.
NRK: CLARITY OF VISION
Each month, I try and highlight a transformation initiative or strategy from one of our Members. Often, these can run to many pages. I was struck by this single slide from NRK, that said so much, so clearly. More of this all round!

We also welcome the author, Professor Raymond Boyle, to the DTI community.
MIT SLOAN: GLOBAL EXECUTIVE STUDY
Coming of Age Digitally: Learning, Leadership and Legacy. Always reliably quality research, even if it does suffer a bit from 'buzzword bingo'. But if you can sift through that, the scale and breadth of the research is impressive, and the transferables for PSM are multiple. Access the full report directly here
i hate the internet - Jarett Kobek
Since it's the summer, I'm moved to add something a little lighter. If you haven't read it yet, Kobek's savage satirical novel dissects the hypocrisy and vacuity of the internet age. It is seriously funny and eminently quotable. The storyline is really just an excuse for a vent, and you'll enjoy it on your holidays. Other retailers are available
