BBQ at Borrell Park
Please join us at our National Night Out Celebration on Tuesday, August 2nd, 6pm at Borrell Park, 808 E 26th Avenue. This celebration is an opportunity to informally thank local officers while encouraging a stronger relationship between residents and law enforcement, in support of VM Ybor’s continued efforts to reduce crime and improve quality of life.
This year we will be promoting the TPD’s Operation Inventory. This program encourages residents to record information about significant possessions in order to aid law enforcement in recovery, should it ever be stolen. We will have an engraver on hand to permanently mark bikes and valuables that may be susceptible to theft. In addition, we will have games for kids young and old, and we will be giving away school supplies to students!
Who doesn't love free BBQ, a shady park, and TPD's Bomb Squad?
