Dear Partners and Friends,

I would like to begin by expressing my gratitude to all of the Startup Canada Partners and supporters who provided their time to grow the community and design the campaign blueprints over the last month. As a result of your efforts, Startup Canada has now taken on a momentum of its own with more than 100 national, provincial and local partners contributing to the Campaign in a multitude of ways.

With August upon us, as part of our Pre-Launch plans, Startup Canada is now turning its attention from Partnership Building to Building the Organization. While we will continue to accept new partners, in August the Team is now focusing on implementing the governance structure, working with Startup Canada Provincial Ambassadors, resourcing the campaign, and empowering our community partners to contribute to the Campaign’s programming strategy through our August Online Town Hall via LinkedIn.

We welcome partners that have capacity to consider taking on a greater leadership role in promoting, building, resourcing and co-piloting the Campaign and contributing to the priorities above to reach out at anytime to discuss ways forward.

In this Pre-Launch Update you will find information on how to contribute to the development of the Startup Canada Campaign this month; find out who is new to the Community and who has been helping to build the initiative; and, learn why some amazing Canadian enterprise champions support Startup Canada.

In the spirit of enterprise,

Victoria Lennox
