Summer day camps with nature twist

The Toronto Star has just reported that a Burlington doctor is prescribing nature to his patients. Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority is creating an opportunity for parents and guardians to give their children a healthy dose of nature at Summer Nature Day Camps in July and August. RBC supports local water quality project

$100,000 Leadership Grant: The RBC Blue Water Project has announced a $100,000 Leadership Grant to Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation for the Healthy Headwaters Wetlands Initiative, a project that is restoring and enhancing important wetlands for the benefit of water quality and quantity. Some streams draining into Lake Huron were also added in 1971 to local conservation authority responsibility

Arkona Lions Classic Car Show offers chance to relive good old days, celebrate museum’s 25th anniversary

Donation helps students discover nature

Thanks to donation from family of late Frank Wight: Elementary school students from North Middlesex, Warwick, and Lambton Shores, did not end their school years without discovering nature at Camp Sylvan.
