Wholesome and fun camp experiences are what make Camp CaHiTo one of the most popular camps around. Activities include hiking, archery, arts and crafts, games, sports and more.

Each year, about 2,000 kids attend Camp CaHiTo Day Camps and discover an amazing 7.5 acre reserve in Balboa Park. Campers enjoy activities ranging from archery, low ropes challenge courses, outdoor living skills, fire safety and building, nature crafts and much more. We use the Camp Fire curriculum to facilitate outdoor games, songs, skits and self growth skills through our mission: Building caring confident youth and future leaders!

Morning Care: 7:30am - 9:00am

Overnights (2nd - 12th grade): 3:00pm - 9:00am

2nd Annual Birthday BBQ & Bon Fire

Saturday, July 30th, 2011 from 3:00pm-7:00pm

Come celebrate Camp Fire USA's Birthday with the whole family at Camp Cahito's 2nd Annual Birthday BBQ & Bon Fire. There will be games, booths and food available for a nominal fee. Activities include making stick ponies, duck pond draw, cake walks, relay races, western music, bon fire and smores. Admission is $1 for kids and $2 for adults.

Sunday in the Park

Sunday, August 28th, 2011 from 2:00pm-4:00pm

Mommy, daddy, grandma or grandpa and me, come out with your child and go on a scavenger hunt identifying bugs and animals, create a nature craft, make a plaster casting of an animal foot print, and each child will design their own original t-shirt. This is a unique experience for both the adult and child. With the help of their adult each child will learn to appreciate and understand animal life cycles, ecology, nature, conservation and more! Enchanted Forest Festival

Saturday, September 10th, 2011 from 11:00am-3:00pm

Calling all princesses, wizards, elves, unicorns, gnomes, dragons and pirates. Come in costume for crafts, games, music, storytelling and refreshments.
